8-year-old Zora has always believed in fairies no matter how many times her parents told her otherwise. Sneaking outside whenever she could to explore the enormous tree behind her home certain something or someone lived in there. Her life unfolding as she got older she became more disappointed as nothing came from her adventures throughout the tree. It had become more of her life than she expected it to. Her 13'th birthday will come and she will have undoubtedly lost all hope of her connection to the tree. But, on the dawn of the next day, something will convince Zora to re-enter the magical tree once more.

Medora lives in a world filled with magical creatures, but being able to see these creatures is labeled as a curse. The rulers of the Rae are shown the same visions, visions which indicate that Kiera is the only one who can save them all. Although she resents their part in her father's banishment, she knows she has no real choice but to answer their summons and provide what aid she can. What if all the myths are real? Monsters, witches, faeries. Well NEWSFLASH! They are. And I've been thrown into the deep end. Before I was a normal girl, well as normal as any 17-year-old can be, but after moving in with my Grandmother everything started to change. She wasn't as crazy as everyone made her out to be. The friends I made in school were different than the others and I fit right in.
