20 year old Barbara (Bobbi) Katzrick has experienced what no teenage girl, or any human, for that matter, should have to endure. Although Dr. Reid seems to have his life together and is at the peak of his career, he may just need Bobbi entirely as much as she needs him...
The story jumps forward 4 years to find Bobbi and Dr. Reid as peers, working on an FBI case together. As the case unfolds, it become's clear that her past secrets Bobbi so desperately longs to keep hidden are now an inescapable part of her present.
