Ever since Lloyd was chosen over him as the green ninja, Cole is cruel and controlling, and not even Wu can stop the damage he's doing. Set right after the Final Battle, an AU where the ninja struggle with their massive rise to fame while silently dealing with abuse in their home. (sorry if this permanently damages your view of Cole. It's a wonderful day in Jamanakai city. Kai's plans for the day are to deliver a sword, get the loaded payment, buy necessities and potatoes to bake, go home, and take a rest. The last two have scratched off however, and it's all courtesy to this guy he comes across too; he's really tall, busting with muscles, owns a pretty pair of big eyes with green irises, and wears a damn charming smile. Everything goes upside down after that. Suddenly, before the gods could spare a blink, Kai is aboard a pirate ship with people he least expected to be with. Kai makes terrible plans, but this trip has got to be the worst yet as he literally fights for his life against one or two fellow mythical creatures. He's also fighting for his troubling heart, as the same guy who ruined his life never fails to skyrocket his heart rate through the sky, and churn his stomach like a towel being twisted into a rope. The first day they met was already stressful, let alone the following ones. On the outside, yes; but when you really know her, NO. Her past is so corrupt, that she often has trouble making friends and helping people. Facing everything everyday becomes increasingly hard, because with the career she persues, it brings back memories from her sad past. She tries to meditate and help herself, but with her super noisy neighbors [who turn out to be more than that] yelling and shouting all the time, it's always hard for her to find inner peace no matter how hard she tries. But there's more to her neighbors than meets the eye, and Ember gets caught in the middle of it. While hanging out with them-basically THEIR idea, not hers-Ember can't help but develop feelings for one of the ninja. There's just one problem: he's stuck in a love triangle. And Nya-Kai's sister, is the main person in the triangle. It's her call. Ember and Nya just can't seem to get along either. But Ember has decided that if Nya chooses the boy that Ember already has, the tension between them two will only escalate. And whenever something like this happens to Ember: destruction typically follows. Bruises on My Heart
This is a ninjago bruiseship fanfic that is heavily Jay-centric. The first three chapters are very slow. I'm sorry, I'm learning about how to carry a story better. You can skip to there if you'd like. *TRIGGER WARNINGS* --self-harm, suicidal thoughts, self-destructive actions-- -Mention's of SA -Torture -Will add more as they come -Lots of Jay angst! Jay is suffering from PTSD from Skybound, and he and Nya have parted ways. Jay struggles to keep up and find self-worth while Cole tries struggles to accept his feelings. Nadakhan returns, and Jay feels like he is going insane. This time, Nadakhan has new tricks up his sleeve and new desires only Jay will suffice. Nadakhan steals ancient relics and uses it to turn the team against Jay. But maybe it was Jay who turned on them. -There will be a short Nya/Jay/Cole love triangle, and definite Evil!Jay. -This is a big fat work in progress that I am doing just for fun.
