A hundred and fifty years since the Great War, a new breed of terror creeps throughout the continent. The Frost Hordes amass in the northern continent of Niflfjördr. Goblins, orcs and other fell creatures started to work together and scourge the lands as if driven by an evil malicious will, the dead comes back to life and haunts the living, and an ominous shadow looms above the Reingart Mountains- the Valley of Death. Beset by these enemies, the Six Nations are currently involved in a power struggle. The High Seat of Bern is empty, the current king of Phelia was assassinated, and civil unrest spread all over Jotunheim. The Great Alliance of the Six Kingdoms is falling apart and was divided into two sides. What hope does Mithgart have in defeating their common enemy when they are in each other's throat?

A century ago, the demon king drowned the world in miasma. Demons everywhere went mad. Peaceful shopkeepers tore apart their human patrons. Child demons devoured their human friends. No longer could demons speak. They had become mad beasts intent upon killing. With no other recourse, humankind retreated behind a wall and sent forth their strongest heroes, wielding the demon-killing sword. It was hoped that this sword could even slay the demon king, source of the miasma. All was in vain. The heroes failed. The sword was lost. And so a hundred years pass, until a scrappy part-demon scavenger finds the ruins of the sword. With rabid demons beating at the walls, she sets out across the wasteland of a once-vibrant land to defeat the demon king and carve a new fate for all of humanity. Part Journey to the West/Saiyuki, part Volsunga saga/Nibelungenlied. Updates at least weekly, more depending on production speed. Lovely cover by @witchoria!
