In the land of Eva, a wave of shadows have infected it for the past thousand years. With it came creatures that were believed to be only seen in nightmares. The people of Eva call the desolate area: The Wastes. 

Five kingdoms involved in a conflict with one another, rule over the land untouched by the plague. 

With war a near possibly and the increase spread of The Wastes, a group of teen misfits are brought together by an odd couple. Each teen - diverse from every nation - hold a rune tattooed on them since birth. With their mysterious runes and strange powers, this odd group then sets out to prevent the end of all life on Eva.
