In London, the year of 1939, the law legalizing the containment and elimination of Homosexuals has not yet been demolished.  Shot in the streets and constantly harassed, the entire gay community is slowly losing all hope of redemption.

Now, at first glance, Phil Lester seems like the classic, straight, high school graduate who has a predictable future.  That's what he thought he was as well. 

Now, Daniel Howell might be a different story. As out of the closet as possible without ending up in prison, he's a leather wearing, sexy,  manipulator. And might be all Phil needs to open his mind, and hopefully his heart. No matter what anyone thinks.All Rights Reserved

He has met the most beautiful, charming, kind girl he could ever imagine, and she loves him back. Everything is perfect... but not for Phil.
