I used to be a sweet girl. I used to be gentle and refined. I think I still am, but I just learned that you can't be that way for the rest of your life. You gotta learn how to step it up a bit just to let people know you aren't easily put down and taken advantage of. after everything that happened,i changed a lot. 

I was 11 that time when my mom and I moved in a new place, in a new country. 

it was during my 6th grade when I saw him during lunch time, he was with his friends. You can say by just looking at them that they are your typical popular kids. I was about to look away when he turns and met my gaze, he looked at me for a second before smiling. But instead of smiling back I looked away and started to eat. Every time I saw him it's either I hide or looked away.
Months past and I was already getting used to my American life. Have good friends, doing great at school. Everything is perfect, until that day...
