Reginald Draculesti lives under a shadow. Many people over the years have mistaken him for Dracula but the famous blood-sucking count, he is not. 

He has been searching for his tiresome cousin ever since Vladimir had left on  holiday and had disappeared, never to be seen again and that had been over 150 year's ago. 

Reginald was fed up of having to keep track of Vladimir as he gallivanted around the world. And now he had probably come a cropper somewhere near the fishing village of Whitby, in England of all places.

"I mean, I do have a death of my own to be getting on with" Reginald thought.
