In this world ruled by accounting rules, almost everything losses its value. In property, plant and equipment, it is called depreciation. While in receivables and inventories, it is called impairment.

Even in life, it losses its value as we age. We lose our strength, capabilities, abilities and even memories as we near the sunset of our lives.

And love is not an exemption to all of these. It depreciates. Or even impairs. And sometimes, it's being written off because there is a bigger possibility that it would not return to you.

So, I am not making a big deal out of it. I do not want to let myself wallow on a short-live happiness then find my heart sulking in misery.

But love has its great power over everyone. Like fortuituous events, it's unforseen and inevitable. Like the acquirer to acquiree, it gives right over you.
