Mature
Cairo, a young man named after his country, travels across the dying, desert country of Cairo to look for Kleptos cards. They hold powerful creatures called Kleptos--spirits that govern certain types of powers trapped inside cards.

But try as he might, Cairo can't seem to keep himself out of trouble. On top of all the problems he gets himself into, Cairo is thrown right into the middle of a rebellion stirring up from the shadows.

As he gets closer to finding more clues to his companion, Aerie's, lost memories, they soon come to realize that her memories might be more important than anyone could have guessed.

Some secrets may be better left buried in the sand...

~A child prophesied to change the world is cursed and misplaced, amidst centuries of a secret battle between good and evil among humans and creatures alike.~ At the end of summer in the year 2000, best friends Alice and Anna find themselves in more trouble than they could imagine as teenage girls. Unbeknownst to the curse given to Alice upon being born thousands of years ago to hide her identity before she is transported through time and placed among humans. Despite her parents' best efforts to keep Alice safe, she inevitably crosses paths with danger when she and Anna are attacked by bloodsuckers, resulting in Alice's first time transforming into a banshee. Kane, who's searching for a blood source powerful enough to create hybrids, is the ruthless king of a dying breed that has been mostly wiped out by the slayers, and Alice, whose true identity is masked by a curse, is the key to everything. Once Kane, hears about Alice's secret, he's determined to capture her and use her blood to create unstoppable hybrids. He orders a second attack, not expecting Tate, a newly transferred student at Hawthorne High, to interfere. When the girls decide to skip the rest of the first day back, they're attacked in the woods behind their school. Anna is kidnapped after being mistaken for Alice, as a result of Tate's interference, and inevitably falls for Prince Alexander, brother of Kane. While their relationship blossomed, so did Alice and Tate's as she grieved the loss of her friend she assumed was dead until anonymously receiving photos of Anna being held prisoner. This newfound power of hers, along with the unbreakable bond she shares with Anna, simply wouldn't allow her to run away and hide. She was not about to go down without a fight. With the help of Tate and his reluctant grandmother, both descendants of a bloodline of pure-blood witches, Alice is determined to save Anna from the clutches of the bloodsuckers. Even if it means she must sacrifice herself or take Anna's place.

29 parts Complete Mature
"One small incident can ruin or change a person's life - Now imagine a storm," Dusty winds spit at Sun'Tribe and her people. Cramped, multiple families are forced to huddle in one of the ruins; the only remaining proof of the original four tribes that used to stand. "Unifying us all is what should make us less insecure about ourselves, but our differences are what makes each one of us unique; special," In Sun'Tribe, everyone is the same. No traditions, no religion, no abilities, no culture, not even the way someone dresses themselves can be different. Dull, brown clothes, with hair cut down and pulled back in a simple manner. Difference is only for their Leader. The supreme ruler who never goes hungry, and lives in a large palace just for herself. It isn't until two lowly commoners take in the last of the outcasts, that their world sees a future of life again. ~*~ Written by the beas-TEAS, @EChO11111111111 (old acc: Echo__IsNoFurry) and @Ripplestream11 ; also credit to our friend who is not comfortable sharing her name (As of right now, Echo's account isn't working, AGAIN, so check both for updates) You don't have to read the other previous two books of this series to understand this book. "Forgotten Truths" is more of a backstory-based book, for the old tribes and some of the characters, which takes place a little over a decade before "Daffodils and Hyacinths", and the main details to understand this book are in "The Place where Dreams Fade," but if you're new, you should be caught up after reading 'TRIBES AND RULERS' and the Prologue. Updates might be a little irregular depending on our schedule We all hope you choose to give "Daffodils and Hyacinths" a go! NOTE: This book is not a fanfic, nor does it have any relation to "The Last Airbender" or "Legends of Korra". We definitely do see how it can be related to that, but we did not intend for that to be the outcome. Thank you!
