Nero is not your average fallen angel. In fact, she's far from average - she's the most powerful of the Fallen in existence, this means she had to keep her head down and try not to draw attention to herself.
When at a concert, she discovers that her so called 'soul mate' - she never knew they where real until now- is one of the High, one of the angels from 'up there'.
This is quite unfortunate, because the Fallen and the High are deadly enemies and whenever two of them meet, they both feel an immediate hatred towards each other and have to try very hard not to kill one another......

Ashton is a Necromancer, well almost. A Necro is born when a witch 'gets it on' with a spirit of the dead, or when two Necromancer's have a child. This means that some of them are half witch, half spirit, though no one has the powers of witchcraft. All except for Ashton. He is an anomaly, and has to keep that side of himself hidden or else he will be shunned and hated by the whole Necromancer community for his abnormality.
