Kelsey James, a shy girl with a sweet smile. Innocence is her downfall. Kindness is her sentence. People in her school take her for granted, using her as an outlet. She lives in a world filled with only pain and suffering, only glimpses of happiness through her music.

Axel Storm, a boy with an attitude and a personality to match. He takes no crap from anyone, yet this rebel can be sweet. Meeting Kelsey allows him to see everything in a new light. No matter how much a person smiles, they can still be truly broken on the inside. Can Axel fix her before it's too late.
