What if when we get closer to God, the evil we feel is not from the Devil? What if Lucipher doesn't try to lead men astray from the Divine, but save them from the duplicity of the winners of the old war?

They say that as one gets closer to God, Lucipher tries harder than ever to get them to stray from the path of righteousness. What they fail to notice is that those truly closest to that 'God' are some of the most evil of us all.
Shannon hopes to change the world one day. She is a well respect member of her community and a devout worshiper of her Lord God. So what happens when she starts to fear her fellow worshipers, seeing in them an evil she thought could only come from Satan himself? The closer she gets to the Church, the more corrupt those around her become. Is it really the work of the Dark Lord, or is there something more sinister going on?
As Shannon's world turns upside down she slowly comes to see that things are not always as they seem, and in the end, it's only the winners who write the history books.

You create fun memories, find the love of your life, get married, start a family, grow old, and eventually, you breathe your last. That's what life was supposed to be like for me. So, now that I've explained a bit about how this all started, let's fast forward to the present. It's now 2033. Mr. Knight has found 19 children, and Mr. Douglas, the leader of the other group, has found 10. That means... the 30th child is out there somewhere. Who will it be? I asked, standing with my hands on my hips. "No, I hope to get to know her when you're ready." He said, and I blinked, a little astonished that he would be so cool with me having a child. Most dominant male wolves are against the idea of their mates ever having been with another. Hope Mayson was only 18 when her whole world shifted, and her best friend died. She died and left everything to Hope, including her baby daughter, Elena. To keep Elena safe from her father, Hope took her newly adopted daughter and ran. For 5 years, Hope kept Elena safe until Hope's mate, Jack, came into their lives, and soon the past catches up with the present.Complete

"We are very, very old vampires." I drop the dress, and the butler looks up in fear. My movements are as fast as a striking snake, tearing out his throat in such a swift movement there's barely any mess. I look into his eyes as he raises his hands to his neck, falling to the ground in a light thump. I walk back and pick up the lavender dress, admiring my smiling reflection in the mirror as the tragically human butler bleeds out onto the expensive Russian rug. --- Some plot lines and moments of the Originals has been altered for this story.
