Renegade (a HTTYD runaway story)
Complete!!! Hiccup was always a nuisance to the vikings on Berk. He was viewed as a runt, a shame, and a screw up. That all changed when he became the top of dragon training, and finally gets the chance everyone thought he only dreamed of. To kill a dragon in front of the entire village. Stoick was proud of his son, he had almost lost hope in him. Now, he proved everyone wrong, or so they thought. Hiccup wanted nothing more than to have this chance his entire life! However, that was before he met and bonded with Toothless, a night fury he had shot down weeks ago. Now, he wanted to escape, but not without attempting to convince the vikings that dragons weren't the real threat. He thought his monstrous nightmare match would be the perfect setting for such a feat. When things go sideways, when Toothless saves Hiccup, he has a choice, stay and try one last shot of convincing Berk, or flee with his best friend. He chooses the best option, he flees. Now, he is branded as a trator, a renegade. Stoick practically disowns him and he is never heard from again. five years later, Berk hears mighty tales of a grand hero who rides a night fury. Many call him 'Night Rider', 'Dragon Tamer', and 'Mysterious Rider'. Many doubted that this hero could be their traitorous ex heir to the Berkian leadership. After all, he was described as having a prosthetic leg, very tall, confident, and extremely buffed, while Hiccup was the opposite of all these descriptions. This is a rewrite of my old story, Battle Scars. There will be a few plot changes but nothing too major. ---------------------------- The Alryne tribe was known to be a very power-hungry group of Vikings, however they have remained quiet for generations. Now the tribe has faded into legend. However, their current leader, Brendan the Battle Winner, has found the location of the King of Dragons. And he wants it for himself. It is located on the island of Berk, but that island is known to have dragon-riding warriors who have defeated villains such as Viggo Grimborn and even Drago Bludvist, so he must plan carefully. He starts by sending out a group of scouts lead by his daughter Brenna, and in that group is a girl named Alice Flarson. On their journey to Berk, they are attacked by one of the rarest and feared dragons in the world: the Flightmare. A dragon that glows as bright as the sun and is capable of freezing its enemies in fear. The dragon is struck down, but Alice finds it injured on the small island where the group temporarily set up camp. She frees the dragon and flees back to her camp, but as time goes on she finds herself going back to find the dragon and even befriending it. During all of this she discovers a side to dragons that no one from her tribe ever saw, and she makes it her job to warn the chief of Berk before Alryne can take the king of dragons and put the entire dragon kind at jeopardy. War against Alryne is inevitable, but Alice thinks she might be able to help Berk prepare for the battle ahead.Complete

HTTYD AU, takes place after httyd 2 Our story follows one peculiar dragon named Dancer. She is all night fury, but she certainly doesn't look the part. Dancer is an albino. When Dancer was young, her older brother, Apollo, left their island home. She never knew why, only that, one day, he stopped interacting with her. The pupils of his eyes turned to slits, and he flew off, into the sunset - leaving her behind. She was heartbroken. Whatever his reasoning, because of her older brother's choice, Dancer came to a conclusion. She decided that she would never be left behind again, EVER again. Days turned to nights, which turned to weeks, then months, and, finally, years. With plenty of practice, Dancer became the fastest dragon ever to be known- much faster than your average night fury. ~~}β’{~~ One day, Toothless and Hiccup went for a flight. Coming back down from a flight, Toothless's tail got jammed, and they went down. Hiccup was fine, but Toothless got a nasty knock to the head and went out like a light. When he awoke, something was off. He could never remember what had happened before the Red Death, always assuming that he had been her slave since hatching, but that wasn't the case. He had a life before that, and he finally remembered it! He had a name. He had a family. A sister! What was her name?! ....Dancer. ~~}β’{~~ After a big crash, Toothless was acting weird. Hiccup was worried, his best friend was always staring off into the sky, but never wanted to leave. Toothless wasn't eating. He was barely sleeping, too. UPDATE!!!!: This is a very old book I wrote and upon rereading it, I hate it. :). The plot's a bit crap, the characters make little to no sense, I cringe at every other line, Y/N is the biggest pick me girl and it hurts my soul, and the writings not that great either. So I'm rewriting it. If this book sounds interesting to you, please read the other updated version that won't make you want to rip your own eyes out (hopefully). It's still called 'He made me believe...' but it has '(UPDATED)' in the title so please read that one instead so I can sleep better at night. However, I'm not taking this story down (for the moment anyway) so if you really want to you can read it but don't say I didn't warn you. <3 Y/N x hiccup fanfic. She hated dragons. He loved dragons. How will this story unfold as romance, drama and fear sweeps the island of Berk? Will they take control or will all they've built fall apart? This is a story I wrote out of boredom. Night Rider - A httyd and Hiccstrid book. -Astrid's pov- 8 years. That's how long it has been. 8 lonely, cold, devastating years of my life that I will never get back. Every night I dream the same dream - every night the same day returns to haunt me over and over. That day dramatically changed my life for the worst. Why did that day happen? Everyone learnt to leave me in peace in the morning. Everyone knew my deepest, darkest secret that changed people's opinions of me forever. Everyone knew my arch enemy, but only 2 people know why he is my arch enemy. My friends still talk to me, just not in the same way as they used to - it's almost as if they are scared of me, or don't want to be associated with me. One day I want this to change. One day I want my life to turn around. One day I will truely be me again. One day I will be happy. One day I will be free. I cannot see that day in the forseeable future, but I know it will come, and I know somehow it is connected to my enemy. *I know that it is an over-used story line but I tried to spice it up a little. Kinda like how you may always eat a Chicken Masala and then you try a Vindaloo - they're both food and both curries but one is different from the other* There are extra chapters at the end containing side-stories of this book.
