Elian Skarend-
Congratulations on your selection as a Guardian! We have observed your excess of joviality, and have decided to assign you to a Ward with an excess of disconsolateness
You are too meet with your Ward at 16:30 Mercanor time. They will be waiting for you in the second dimension- specifically, the Ebony Moon Cafe.
We wish you the best of luck in bringing this Ward back to normalcy.
Sincerely,
The department of Mental Balance

Nope. Still the same. I run my hand through my faded maroon hair, frustrated. Goodness, the one thing that was supposed to make me happy, to go back to being normal, and it gets screwed up. I snort. Excess of Joviality, my butt.
And yet the fact remains that I have to be a Guardian, at least until I can get reevaluated. This is probably going to end up really, really, badly.

Only One Cabin: A Wolf Shifter Romance by LondonPrice1
17 parts Ongoing Mature
I'm sorry, but I don't know what planet Sam's from. Shifters are, in fact, indigenous to Earth, as far as I know, but Sam has to be the exception. He's unpacked everything with incredible precision, lined up in the drawers under his bunk, boxers, shirts and shorts folded neatly, books arranged by size on the headboard shelf. Whereas my luggage looks like it ate something that didn't agree with it and promptly expelled everything inside. He's just sitting there on the edge of the bottom bunk he chose right next to mine, elbows braced behind him as he leans back, too tall to sit upright. He's not making me nervous. He's not. It's totally fine if he just wants to watch my disaster unfold. "Don't you want a top bunk? You'd have more room for your head, I think." His gaze doesn't waver. "I'm good. Do you want some help?" "No, thank you," I say, picking up a stick of deodorant. I use it before I throw it into the drawer, and I could swear Sam's eyes flare when I expose my abs. Scowling, I turn my back to him. "You shy, Zekey?" ---- Zeke I didn't think twice about accepting when Sam asked me to be a counselor at Camp Pinecone. I'm used to being the only wolf in the room who can't shift, so the idea of a whole gaggle of us together is just too good to pass up. I'll just ignore my attraction to my co-counselor...and how small this cabin is starting to feel. Sam I've known Zeke's my mate for five years. I thought I could handle having him around all summer, but it's getting harder and harder to resist telling him...if I can't keep the truth to myself, would he even believe me? And if he does, will it matter if he can't feel it too? Only One Cabin is a steamy, m/m wolf shifter story with pining, secrets, skinny-dipping, and a happily ever after. It contains mild violence and suspense, but no cheating or lack of consent. Start this cozy, summertime romp today! New episodes every two weeks.
She is Fatal to Death (Standalone Story) by writeraliciagonzalez
50 parts Complete
She's dead by the third chapter. Okay, it's a bit more complicated than that. Okay, it's A LOT more complicated than that. Renata wants nothing more than to pay her bills through her mildly boring office job and figure out whether she is still in love with her best friend. The latter half of that desire is just a sneak peak into her messy life-and it's only getting messier. Considering the paranormal world she is about to dive head first into, she will come to realize that figuring out her heart may just be the easiest part of this journey. Well, the endless supply of supernatural hotness in this story may beg to differ-but that's besides the point. Either way, it's gonna be a killer time ;) EXCERPT Chicken tacos it is. Right as Renata grabbed the ingredients, she turned to put them next to the stove, where a clean, plastic cutting board awaited. But as she moved, she was confronted by a stranger, an intruder, standing mere inches from her. Before she could scream, he was on her, slamming her against the fridge. Her back flashed with sharp pain. Her eyes pricked with fear as she drank in his uncovered face. Deeply tanned skin. Ruby red eyes-ruby red eyes? Thick, slashing eyebrows. Flat, broad nose. Buzzcut. Handsome. That was as far as she would go in complimenting him considering this guy held a knife to her throat. When he spoke, his voice came out like thunder. It held a thousand threats and a thousand secrets. It held promise of pain if provoked. "If you scream," he warned, mouth pulled in a slight snarl, "this ends quickly." She didn't dare nod against the blade. He noticed and amusement lit up for just a second in those devilish eyes. Oh, whoever the fuck this was, she already hated him. Considering her predicament, panic was the most prominent emotion coursing through her at the moment. "Good." He removed his hand "Now you're going to answer my questions." °°MATURE AND EXPLICIT CONTENT OF ALL KINDS, AND I MEAN ALL KINDS°
Wild Magic Three: The Shade of the Earth- a M/M fantasy shifter romance by herellwrites
32 parts Complete Mature
*****COMPLETE-- Book three in the Wild Magic Series. Sequel to By the Light of the Moon and The Dark of the Sun, but can be read as a stand-alone. The Shade of the Earth is a M/M, May/December, gay-for-you romance with fated mates, knotting, and a bobcat shifter with a small stature and big spunk.***** Robert has been surrounded by men attracted and romantically involved with other men for most of his life. He accepts his friends, defends them, loves them... but has never really understood them and their attraction to other men. Now, a diminutive bobcat shifter, with all the spunk of his feline counterparts, nameless and without a family or home, has claimed him as his mate, refuses to leave his side, and somehow forces him to see sex and attraction in a whole new light. But just as things are beginning to fall into place for Robert and his Sami, will they have everything ripped away by a dark figure from Robert's past? ************************************************ "I'm confused, Sami. This is... a lot. I've never been attracted to a man. I like women- I don't like men! Please understand, all of this is a lot for me." "I'm not men," the shifter whispered, a single tear dripping across his temple and back into his curly, ragged hair. "I'm your Sami." The words had the breath in my lungs freezing painfully. I stared down into his simple, open face, and had a sudden, near-violent realization. Sami ran on pure, feral instinct. This didn't make him stupid, it didn't make him simple of mind. It made his desires and thought process easy and pure. He wanted me, I was denying him. He couldn't understand any other reason for me to do this other than his own inadequacies. He didn't understand the laws of attraction as humans saw them. He saw only that I was his mate. And I was denying him.

"Fuck, baby. You can't say things like that to me. I want to, also. Trust me." His hand snakes down my body until he enters two of his fingers into my wet center. I can only moan in response. "However," he kisses my neck possessively, finding the right spot to drive me crazy. "I need to build you up to that." He pushes his fingers in and out of me, hitting deeper and deeper as his strokes become longer and harder and faster. "You feel that? My fingers deep in your pussy that's dripping for me?" He licks the side of my neck as my breaths come out in short pants. "My dick is going to stretch you out so much more. When I finally fuck you, you're going to be sore for days. And you're going to love it." ---------- Thea Brooks, an 18-year-old college student, lives her life by a schedule. She has school, homework, her job at the Coffee shop where she drinks way too much caffeine to be healthy, and the rest of the time she is watching her little sister while her mother is at work. She thinks that everything will remain the same as she starts her college classes, but that all changes when a new friend of hers introduces her to an attractive guy that she can't seem to get out of her head. Grayson Dark, a 22-year-old Alpha of his pack, has been searching for his mate since he turned 16. All hope is lost until one of his pack mates strolls into his home with the most magnificent scent- his mate's scent. Without understanding the supernatural world existing around her, Thea will have to learn to look past Grayson's faults- mainly his possessiveness and anger issues- while staying out of danger from unknown threats and learning her place at Grayson's side. Oh... and keeping her grades up. How hard can that be?

This woman survived a traumatic kidnapping, and you can see the emotional scars in her demeanor. Despite her small size, there's a hidden anger inside her, a result of the injustices she faced. Across from her view another person, quieter but equally significant. They seem restless, constantly shifting their focus. They, too, have a troubled past, having grown up around violence at home. They have ADHD, their mind is always busy, making it hard to concentrate. When the woman leaves, she locks eyes with this person waiting outside. In that brief moment, they understand each other's pain, "He's not actually helping us, is he?" She mumbled softly. Though their lives may never cross again, that simple sentence speaks volumes about their strength and resilience in overcoming their pasts. However, eventually they met again, but in the different place, at the same time, but different day. A delicate connection starts to grow between them, intertwining their lives. Even though they know they'll face difficulties ahead, they see in each other a ray of hope-a possibility for healing, for finding peace, and even for love
