Everyone who thought they knew Amber thought she had the perfect life, so when she commits suicide out of the blue, the entire town is buzzing with excitement and curiosity. While the town is dealing with the initial shock of Amber's death, one of Amber's victims, Lena, begins to uncover the truth of why her tormenter truly pulled the trigger.

Growing up in a toxic environment, sixteen-year-old Jay Foster has always had psychological problems, coupled with a quick temper. But one night something happens which finally pushes him over the edge, and as a result, he leaves his house the next morning with two things: his mother's gun and a plan.
