"The last thing you say, could be the beginning of a continuous dream"

              What is the meaning of it? Is it a dark chained tale of Horror? Or should we call it some another pastiche story? Or Maybe original? The light novel Last Word by Rayyan De M. It’s a simple and absorbing blend of these genres. Written in 2013, it is a personal life of a JHS student full of dreams, conflict, and a miracle, focusing on the main characters  "I". The setting of world mirrors the confusion that "I" feel.
            When "I" was a kid. He has a very close friend named Leon, but there was an accident that broke their chain of friendship. Someday "I" transfer to another school because of his parents work. Many years have passed until the day when “I” was "13" he was transferred to another school in the second year of JHS, It’s a miracle that fate reunites “I” and Leon. But unfortunately Leon still seeking for revenge to “I”. “I” was terribly sad, their school life atmosphere is cold. Someday, somebody provokes them. They have a fight in the lobby of their school, their friends trying arbitrate them. But "I" was the one that was too emotional at that time. He doesn't think what he just did, when he realizes what is going on. It's already too late, a cadaver was lying on the floor, Leon cadaver. 
            "I" just cry, and run. “I” keeps thinking that he can never come back. At that time, he made an oath, that he will never too angry or even kill someone. But not long after the oath, he died. Did the novel end? Find the answer in this novel. Last Word is not what I would call an ‘easy read’. She expected for it to be a one night stand and that was it but she desperately wants to see the woman again. And she ends up getting her wish but the next time they see each other it's in one of the most unexpected of situations. Just when she was starting to think that she might be able to be happy again, it all goes to crap. Her life seems to be a never ending string of heart break. Maybe the whole universe really is against her. Warning: This story's going to get a bit dark/depressing. And even though it's clearly labeled as such but I still feel I need to say this is a mature girlxgirl story so there will be sex. Also don't read if you have a problem w/ the word fuck because I use it quite liberally.

(edit) I forgot to add that this started out as a confessional journal about becoming clean after a 10 year + addiction to OTC cold meds, but that was not my style of writing, I liked the material so I wanted to expand it into a novel length work featuring the journal elements. To say this work is a roller coaster would put it lightly. Although there are elements of time travel I would consider my sudden transitions reality travel. I use actual experience and dreams as a foundation, then toss in some fourth wall breaking narratives (meta-fiction), with a sprinkling of facts and quotations from songs and factual articles. It tends to be written similarly to an essay sans the boring. I have been influenced strongly by Vonnegut and W. S. Burroughs , and a wide variety of album rock, and that bleeds through. The tags dystopian and dark humor describe the whole piece best but there is a lot of genre jumping. I've done a good deal of research, not just for factual things but for the type of writing I do. Although not technically fan fiction, there is a nod to Final Fantasy games. The cover photo is a shared copyright, Brian Barbour took the photo, I added treatments.

Our main character, Romero, decided that a change of scenery would be a nice decision for himself after a traumatizing event in his life. So, he decided to go and live in a nice, quiet town. It is said to be amazing. The townsfolk are supposedly nice. The scenery is amazing. There does seem to be a little bit of noise at night, but that is normal. Right? I mean, who would not love to live next to the woods in a town that has a "Wolf Problem," whatever that means, AM I RIGHT??? No but seriously, he is a bit concerned for his well-being, and along with trying to keep his past and his job a secret from the town, he is trying to figure out how to process some new... information... he gets about the world he lives in. Clover is a quiet girl who does her work and get good grades so people started calling her a nerd. This book is old and is cringe. Read at your own risk. Axel is cliché bad boy He gets bad grades, he fights, talks back , he's a bully and he's a player. Axel also has always bullied Clover for no reason but one day he needs something from her and everything changes.
