Cara Sanders is the perfect daughter. She has a spotless academic record with killer-grades and more extra curriculars than one can count. She has impeccable manners and is as close to perfect there is. At least that's the idea. When her childhood friend Aiden Rosebury becomes her new lab partner she starts to question her identity and if she really is who everyone thinks she is. Cara discovers that trying to escape who you actually are is a lot harder than it seems and that she never, truly has a say in anything, two things she learns the hard way.

Typical fictional boy Typical fictional girl Typical life? Allison Chambers couldn't help the fact that her new neighbor, 3 feet away in the house beside her, is some sort of delicious. Or that fact that he is seriously troubled. Or the fact that he is every girls dream. Or the fact that he's her best friend brother (or step brother). She also couldn't help falling for him. Or the way he embeds her life and makes it ten times more difficult. But Jaxon Anders may not be soon keen on letting her in his life. Or the fact her life is, like, every teen romance cliche in one person.
