Artemis that's my name. A Long long time ago a young elf prince gave it to me. He was the crowned elf prince of Mirkwood. His name Legolas he was a very kind young elf. I had saved him from drowning when he was only 10, well looked 10 anyway. Since he is an elf they age very slowly just like my kind. After I saved his life that day he wouldd often come see me. Each day just to learn about me and my race. Since we'll, im a mermaid. I'm the last of my kind. He and I grew up together and my feelings for him became one of love over time. I loved him but it was dangerous for me because mermaids can only love once. If my heart breaks it will turn to stone and stop beating, it will grow old and cold and it will stop and never start again. My body will live but it would be a shell of a mer. One day Legolas had come to see me by the river, he told me about a young she-elf named Tauriel. He told me about how he had feelings for her and how amazing she was. My heart hurt at those words. He had fallen for another. That day I told him I loved him and that I would never forget him. Then I grabbed his face with my hands and kissed him. When I kissed him a tear slid down my cheek, when it hit the ground it turned into a white pearl. I kissed him because I loved him but when I kissed him I took away every memory of him and myself. I let go and put my necklace around his neck. It was a green stone with markings on it. We called it our hearts we would give it to the ones we love. I looked at him one last time before jumping back into the water leaving the one I love.Complete

Isola is a young hobbit woman who lives in the Shire with her less than parent worthy father. So she spends most of her free time with her cousin, Bilbo Baggins. One day, a wizard whom she vaguely remembers as Gandalf, comes to her while she is at work and asks her to join him and Bilbo at dinner that night for talk of a quest. She agrees to come to dinner, and is suprised to find a whole company of dwarves who are charming in their own way at her cousin's home. Isola joins the company for the adventure, and she learns that family does not have to be blood, and what it means to belong. And unexpected to her, she finds the one she'll never forget, and the one she'll never let go of. I would like to add that the chapters you read will not be fully edited until I complete the book. So there will be typos, flaws in the plot, ect. I am going to do some heavy editing at the end. Everything up until then is more of a draft. I do not own anything exept for Isola and some added plot. You also joined the adventure although your brother told you not to go, but the thing is you can't let your poor baby's go on an dangerous adventure alone. You know they aren't your little boys anymore but a mother still thinks their child is still a baby. The dwarves traveled to moria but when you camped your water broke and that's when Fili was born and in The battle of Azanulbizar started, Kili was six months in your stomach. But in the battle your husband's life was taken by azog. It wasn't easy for you, especially raising one baby son and one on the way. but Thorin was there to help you. After your husband's death you knew you'd never fall in love again until a certain Hobbit came into your life. (The first movie will sadly not be the extended version, but the others are the extended version.)

Bilba Baggins is a bit shy. Okay, she's a LOT shy and when Gandalf shows up and dumps an entire Company of dwarves on her she is decidedly NOT amused.......or capable of speaking to them.....particularly the dark haired one who happens to be a PRINCE. Thanks for that heads up, Gandalf. All she can think is Kili should have a warning sign on him. It could say something like: "Caution: Exposure to KILI could result in side effects including but not limited to - - Incoherent speech - Inability to speak at all - Increased clumsiness - Decrease in brain function In a few cases more serious side effects have been reported including, but not limited, to - - The sudden urge to run off on poorly thought out adventures - Delusions where one believes they are capable of stealing from Trolls and/or dragons In order to limit the risk of developing one or more of these side effects individuals should limit their exposure to KILI to brief bursts of staring or sidelong glances."
