Jordan and Mel are best friends. There are many reasons why they are best friends but the reason that drives the friendship was books. They both love books, they would read together and won't read without each other. This time they set out to complete a book entitled, "To love one, to lose one".
As they read together, Jordan finds out he has feelings for her. However, in fear of ruining the friendship, he doesn't tell her. As they reach further down into the book and further along each day, Jordan finds out Mel is ill after she got sick and was admitted to the hospital. She got better days after and Jordan decides that he should spill his feelings before it's happens again until a few words changed his mind. Unfortunately tragedy struck as they entered the final chapter of the book, but also the final chapter of their life together.

"I... Am here to see you.", I told him as I placed my hands around his neck. I could feel my heart beat getting faster but I had to keep it strong if I had to survive this scenario.
