It's Over
The soul shattering news the pieces crumble as I fumble to pick them up all I do is stumble to pick them up I've told you time and time again I've been hurt before then you say it's over the little pieces of my heart fall out of my chest as these words are spoken to me complete and utter sympathy what are you doing to me? Turning my brain into mush as we kiss hands gliding along the body I have no idea why I feel like a nobody but it's over it's over it's over tears flood the rivers as I cry about my sorrows I'll live to tell the tale but will I live to tell the truth? Don't touch me there it's a place that hurts a place that has been shattered can you repair a loveless soul like me? Or would you leave me here to grieve the sorrows of my past my past creeps up behind me beats me, bruises me, but this is just all metaphorically it gets so much worse verbally the truth seeps through every inch of me heavy with grief and disgust, but God do I hate what the past does to me.
