Esperanza Garcia never had a childhood. After her mom died when she was 5, she was left with her father. Her father loved his wife, and when she died, he turned into an alcoholic and became aggressive towards Esperanza. After a series of events happened, she stopped talking to anyone and everyone except for her best friend, Yvonne. After a horrible night at home, she goes to the park and the person she least expects is there... - Jacob. THE Jacob. To her surprise, he cheers her up and before going back to reality she realizes, maybe there is some Hope...

"I walked over to where Aaron was sitting on the ground, kneeling so that I was face-to-face with him. He was wearing a blank expression on his face so I guess he didn't really care if I kissed him or not. I took in a deep breath before taking his face in both of my hands and swooping down to kiss him. Hope has always expected the worst when it comes to people. Although who could blame her? Since she was about the age of five Hope and her brother Gavin have been in foster care. They never knew their father. Before they were born he had left their mother to be a teen mom on her own. As for their mother to them, she was the most wonderful and caring person they knew. To everyone else she was A depressed mother that had spent more time on drugs than off of them. She cared about her kids she really did, she just didn't know how to handle them. Hope has always been there for her little brother. She hides all of her problems and focuses on her twin brother making sure that he is always happy and dosent know about her problems, because honestly at this rate shes turning into their mom.
