As a child Ruby liked to go out and explore the woods, without her father knowing of course. She loved to climb the trees, splash the water in the lake, and roll in piles of leaves. Little did she know was that there also a mute girl named Neo who liked to come out here as well. Not to play, but to hide from the police after she stole some of her scores. She spends her days hiding her stuff in the trunks of trees, play with the animals, and lay in flower beds. One day the two bumped into each other to begin arguing as how they met was not very pleasant. Ruby did most of the talking. As they fought they attracted the attention of yet another child who lived in the woods. He did not fit in with society due to his Grimm appearance along with his faunus features. He couldn't exactly remember who he was, or what he was supposed to be. But he made the woods his home where the animals accepted him and nobody would be afraid of him. It was another beautiful day outside. It always feels so good laying on top of buildings with the sun shining on me. I start to doze off from how relaxing it is. Just before I fall asleep someone taps my shoulder. I turn to Neo smiling at me. "What's up?" I ask her. She pulls out her notepad and quickly writes something down. "Nothing, I'm just bored," I read off of her notepad. "Take a seat," I tell her. She sits next to me and I lean my head on her. "Neo, I'm gonna take a nap," I tell her starting to fall asleep again. Neo starts scratching my cat ears and I accidentally let out a purr. Neo jumps up excited and smiling. "You didn't hear that!" I yell at her. 'That was so cute,' She writes on her notepad so fast that it was kinda difficult to read. I sigh knowing she's not going to let this go.
