An explosion in a lab triggers a 30 year ongoing war between humans and the creature called 'Regenants'. In the midst of the war, a young boy wanted to avenged his family's death at the hands of the monsters, joins the Nation's fighting force 'Fafnir' but with so many things going on, it seems the Regenants were not the only one that he needed to take caution on.
