Summary: This collection of haibun, inspired by the prints of Tsukioka Yoshitoshi (1839-1892), delves into the Floating World of 19th century Japan when it marched into modernity, losing part of its artistic character in the process. Yoshitoshi was the last great master of ukiyo-e whose visionary courage gave new inspiration to a dying art. I'll attempt to revive part of his world in this collection. Hope you enjoy!
