She didn't meet an extremely handsome CEO or all-feared bad boy who would make her fall instantly in love. She didn't have loads of money to live a comfortable life. She didn't have plenty of friends to have sleep overs with. And she DEFINITELY didn't have ideal parents.
She lived life as best she could. And she had no choice but for that to be good enough for her.
December Jones had never had it easy and figured she never would. She lived in a routine of struggle that seemed never ending, that is, until she met Jason Briggs, a boy who battled his own personal struggles.
This wasn't your average romance cliche of love at first sight. This was the tale of two lost teens navigating life all the while developing a very unconventional friendship.

As time carries on, Karley's relationship with this boy advances. The boy, Sebastian Grayson is not right in the mind. His home life-as well as Karley's-is not the best. His father has been abusing him mentally and physically ever since childhood, beating him and forcing him to 'toughen up' because it will only strengthen him in the real world. His mother could do nothing to stop his father's abuse, pretending that everything was fine. This story contains suicidal scenes, mature scenes, SA scenes, and mature languages.
