Astor Huntington is an eighteen year old girl who has been through a lot. Hey, haven't we all? The only thing, she doesn't know how to face the traumatic experiences that broke her without losing herself completely. Out of options, her mother sends her to the one place she thinks can mend her broken mind; Forks, Washington. The catch is, Astor will be thrown headfirst into something perhaps far worse than her traumatizing past.
Paul Lahote is a man who has lived a relatively normal life. Well, until he turned sixteen and transformed into a wolf for the first time. Now at twenty-five, Paul is enjoying life alongside his pack. He patrols, he trains, he hangs out, etc. Now that the Cullens have moved on, Paul doesn't have much to worry about. Well, except for the fact that his imprint is headed on her way towards him and she isn't ready for his world.
This is a story about a girl with anxiety and depression overcoming herself and her problems with a man who is looking to better understand others around him as well as himself.

Luna had never been able to fully come to terms with her mother's death, and it had only added to her depression. But then she met a special someone. He was a boy from the nearby reservation, and he was kind and funny. He also had a secret. She was shocked when she found out, but she couldn't deny the feelings she had for him. And there was this really nice vampire family that was hard to hate. And a wolf family that really wanted Olivia to stay out of it all.
