Naruto Uzumaki was attacked and abused when he was a young child. He knew the villagers were never going to recognized him, or treat him like a hero the fourth hokage wished to happen. After entering the ninja academy, he snapped on one stormy night by a few ninja who tried kidnapping the Hyuga Heiress, Hinata Hyuga. Killing the ninja's left him scarred, until he came across a scroll he found in a abandoned compound that was said to belong to the fourth hokage himself.

The Fourth Hokage's body was never found, but they never suspected that was because he hadn't died. Minato Namikaze wakes up six years after the devastating Kyuubi attack, alone in an overgrown clearing with not a scratch on him.
