Romance
Katy Falls hates life. She hates highschool. She hates the bitter mean girls that torment her everyday. Her only friend is Cory, her quirky "openly gay" best friend. She might as well live under a rock. Cory always rants to her about the "outside world," hoping she would understand. He would bestow her fashion advice, and funny, she still gets terrorized. People call Katy ugly. They tease her, trying their hardest to make her cry. She can't even see color. Ever since her parents died when she was fourteen, the world was black and white. But then one day, she was attempted to get kidnapped. Thank goodness she knew martial arts, she could defend against herself. She failed, falling prey to her kidnapper. Or should I say.... Assassin. He finally lets her go, and she hopes to never see him again. And that's where things don't go exactly to plan. He moves to her school. She is utterly horrified and disgusted that all the girls worship him. I mean, he tried to kill her! But what if Katy falls in love with him? What if she learns about his past? Will she ever see the world in color again? THIS IS NOT STOCKHOLM SYNDROM. I REPEAT. NOT STOCKHOLM.

Summer

Summer is intoxicatingly beautiful and she knows it. Everyone wants to be her. Everyone wants to know her. What no one understands is Summer is not as perfect as she seems. Not by a long shot. And trying to hold it all together is like silently suffocating inside her own head. Until she somehow stumbles into Ace, who is as beautiful as he is cruel. He takes what he wants and doesn't care how he gets it. Pushing people away is what he knows and no one dares to get close enough or else they might get ripped to shreds. Summer doesn't trust Ace. She doesn't want or need him. He's frustrating, stubborn and doesn't care about anyone but himself. But a part of her can't help but feel drawn even as destructive and explosive as he seems to be.
