Set in Berlin, 1977.

25 year old, Allison Shwarz, has lived in Berlin her entire life. She once lived a happy life in a small East Berlin townhouse with her parents, that was until the Berlin Wall was built...

She now lives alone in a small West Berlin apartment, working in a local bar day after day, trying to scrape up enough money to get by. She always thought that her life after that night in 1961 would be terrible, but one night when a familiar handsome looking stranger enters the bar, her life changes for the better...

This is my first proper go at writing a fan fiction, so all constructive criticism is welcome! 

I went on a David Bowie tour of Berlin recently and using the information the tour guide told us about his life when he lived there and from my own research, I decided to write this fic! So I hope everything is accurate- if not, don't hesitate to tell me :-)

Sorry," she said with a shy smile. Adam, who had been standing there staring, just as she had pointed out, finally found his voice long enough to tell her his name. She beamed at him, saying that they would be great friends. She seized his hand and began tugging him toward the woods behind the cottage, shouting to Ivy and his mother, "We won't go far! Be back soon!" ~~~
