"I can't... I can't do this!" I cry as I collapse on the ground next to the fountain. "I'd rather be anywhere but here!" I fight to catch my breath as the panic sets in. Suddenly a bright light nearly blinds me. I let out a scream as I scramble to my feet, using my hands to shield my eyes.

"I am so very sorry that I am late!" A woman stands before me, dressed in a pale blue dress that sparkles like a million diamonds.
"Who... who are you?!" I ask, the shock apparent in my voice.
The woman frowned, "Why... I am your fairy godmother, of course!"

The cold wind gnawed at her fading conscious as the warmth slowly began to drain from her body, pooling itself into a crimson mass beneath her still body. The thought of death was somehow amusing in the dire situation she had found herself in, or rather, trapped herself in was a more apt description of the events that had led to this moment. "Are you alright miss?" For a moment the young lady thought she was beginning to have auditory hallucinations near the end of her fleeting life however she was proven wrong when the same voice spoke again. "It's not good to sleep in the snow miss, you might not wake up in the morning." The voice was soft and gentle which filled the young lady with an odd sort of warmth she had never before experienced.
