Kasey is seventeen years old and suffers from depression after a few deaths in her immediate family. She isolates herself from the world except for her best friend and her brother all until she crosses paths with four other people in Chicago.
They experience a new world together and take a better view on life, thanks to the help of Kasey. Along the way she finds another struggle with Aiden. As she begins to gain feelings for him, he holds a secret that not even his life-long friends know about.
Will they be able to shut down the storm, or will the storm get the best of Kasey before it is too late?
