A new breed of demon is released into the world, but luckily it's only one. The Winchester brothers can handle one demon right? Right? Turns out, this new breed has several new features that help it to make a comfortable place for itself... on the top of the food chain. It needs to consume human blood to sustain power, so it is just the kind of monster the brothers have to take on. When the demon can form it's own body, inhabit any body through any opening, be it a wound, the eye or the mouth and an anti-possession sigil won't stop it for more than a few seconds, things get complicated. Things get even more complicated when Sam becomes the demon's new favorite toy, sending him into a coma, kidnapping him, inhabiting his dreams and possessing his shadow to follow the brothers. Dean and Castiel are put on the spot to stop the Music loving, cynical, childish, flirty Alpha demon.

Cas and Dean are seniors in high school and they've been best friends since they were five years old. They know everything about one another, or so Dean thought. Charlie, being the good friend she is throws a party and invites Cas. There's an interesting guy there that catches Cas' eye. Sweet fluff ensues, and it's soon after that Dean learns Cas' biggest secret. He is also faced with emotions he has never felt before, especially in regards to Cas. He finds himself jealous and angry when he sees Cas with Luke, and at his brother's suggestion he decides to confront his true feelings for his best friend, and tell him how he really feels.
