This story is about a high school girl who has been dreaming of getting on the football team since third grade. She has boys for friends and doesn't fit in with the girls at all, whatsoever. When her crush (and best friend) , the football team captain, drops one of the boys from the quarterback position, she sees her chance. When she arrives at tryouts, she is immediately judged by the cheer girls, not the boys. Which is a relief. Will she get the spot? Will she prove all the haters wrong?
