In the present day, Bianca is dead, Nico gets panic attacks, and Will is struggling with money. College certainly isn't helping the issue at all. It's a mess, but they'll make it work. After all, everyone's made it this far. Well.....everyone except for Bianca.
This is gonna have a friggin TON of fluff, but be warned. There will be a lot of sad, angsty parts.

"Do you even have a pulse?" Nico suppressed a flinch. Ironically enough, his heart started beating faster. "What's that supposed to mean?" "I guess you haven't looked in a mirror recently." His eyes narrowed at the blond, maybe after sneaking a glance at his ridiculously thin body in an even more ridiculous school uniform that hung off his bones. "Well, that's none of your business and-" Nico panicked for a moment as he searched his wrist, then tried following the teacher's instructions, until he felt the gentle thrum of life underneath his finger. "There! I d-have one." "Really?" Will grabbed his hand (okay, so it was less grabbing and more of a gentle grazing of his fingers against Nico's wrist) and oh. His eyes blew wide, and his heart pounded in his ears. Why did I let him do that? What do I do with my hand now? Can he feel how fast my heart is going? Future doctor Will Solace hummed, and gave his expert opinion, "checks out, I guess." ~ Or an AU where modern day America is a lot more like rural India and Nico di Angelo has to deal with the threat posed by unconventional, annoying-and cute-blond, Will Solace, to the forged sanctity of his life. Midnight Coffee
Nico works night shifts at a 24/7 coffee shop by himself since nights are slow. He's also full-time at college, when he's 'working', he has the opportunity to do homework; however, he prefers to just read. He never told people about his sexuality (for personal reasons) until it was suddenly revealed in front of one person: his acquaintance, Jason. Not even Nico's sister knew yet, but now he is forced to deal with this friend of a friend, who knows his secret. At work one night, he and his mythology book are interrupted by someone actually coming into the shop. Who could need a coffee at midnight? Midnight Coffee shares its storyline with my book Coffee at Midnight, these are written to play with different perspectives in storytelling. Midnight Coffee was written first, is told strictly from Nico's perspective, and has a cast of Percy Jackson characters. Coffee at Midnight is told strictly from Will's perspective, has a cast of Magnus Chase characters, and includes bonus scenes between the two. These stories are set in a world with no gods or demigods. Will and Nico were both born in the mid-90s (this story is set in 2015). These are fanfiction based on the Percy Jackson franchise.
