The story is about a girl who is 14 years old, just heading into high school in the fall. She met a boy in high school. They became friends, then eventually becoming best friends. As of one late night, they were talking and confessed their feelings for each other. They eventually started to date later on after a while of talking to each other. As they were dating, she began to fall in love with him, which was her first boyfriend ever. They dated for roughly three to four years, up until he declared that he was going to be moving near the end of their high school experience. As he moves, they started to talk less and less. As they tried to maintain a long distance relationship, they soon found out that it wasn't working out for them, thus they decide to break up. But little does he know, she still loves him and he doesn't know that he had left her broken hearted for as long as she could remember.

"You okay there, partner?" he chuckled. Our bodies were centimeters away from touching so I took a step back. A fatal mistake, which caused my back to hit the wall, trapping me in front of him. He smiled. ________________________________________________________________________________ Audrey has never considered anything about herself special. Hell, even her name is boring! But when her best friends brother is assigned as her partner for a project, they are forced to spend lots of time together. Not only is Trent Blake cocky, too handsome for his own good and just plain obnoxious, he's also known for flirting (and sometimes hooking up) with every girl he meets. What happens when it becomes more than just flirting? Can little Audrey Ross beat the player at his own game?
