Ember is just a simple girl in the normal human world.

She's tossed into a world she wants nothing to do with, and has to do more to do with it than she ever thought possible. Can she defeat someone who holds her life in his hands? Who is this stranger? And what does he want from Ember?
Who can she trust? Her 'friends' are beings she wouldn't have believed existed in her old life. Everything everyone knows about the world, is just the cover up.
Will she survive her new existence being the Death Angel? Or can she shape up and become something better than she was destined for?
