"The Essence Of Poetry" covers some of my own poetic works. I'll try to write poems on various topics. Suggestions are always welcomed !

1. Promise Of New Dawn : Just like every night brings the promise of a lovely morning, the sorrows and miseries of a person's life shall be followed by happiness and content!

2. The Lost Childhood : A Hindi poem illustrating the feelings of a grown up who feels sad about his/her lost childhood. Memories from the sweet past rejoice a person but at the same time person realises he/she cannot return to that priceless period.

Abroad
The purpose of this poetry book is one of defiance. Not to others, or anything in particular. It is against the war we wage internally, against ourselves every day. There is no bigger challenge in life than facing your thoughts, your true emotions, your feelings when you lie alone at night by yourself, cornered. We tend to postpone them, shelf them, as we grow accustomed to our daily activities, never giving ourselves a chance to evaluate ourselves. Who are we? what do we lack? what do we need? In this book, I took it upon myself to air out all of my grievances, my intimate thoughts, my happiness, my disappointments, my sadness all out in the open, for all to see. I wanted to face it all. To stare my mortality dead in the eyes, and let the lingering stare sit, I wanted to simmer the feeling of weakness, of every single type of emotion, completely digest it, and let it manifest genuinely, reading it, again and again, perfecting it, again and again, until the feeling of pain subsides. I there is anything that I want you to take from this book, is time. Yes, just a word, time. It goes by, so have not regrets, and never leave something from saying. MY DESTINY WITH YOU
Azar Dua Mir was fine with being a shadow everywhere. Nobody necessarily acknowledged his presence every time. He was a force of nature, calm and serene like the sea waves during sunset. While capable of devastating everything around him if provoked. He had a tough childhood, lives in a complicated joint family, yearns for affection, and is extremely ambitious for his future. Ambitious to not die in poverty. He never had anything easy in life. The ambition of a rich and powerful life was his single aim. Then he met- Ayesha Abadal. "She was a beautiful princess living in the dazzling tower-way out of my reach. I might be beneath her in status, power, and money but I was innately ambitious. And now... she is my ambition. Deedar hua jab unka pehli baar, ishq ki gehraiyan dekhi Bas khud se wada kar liya tha, Meri ankhri sanson mein sirf unka naam hoga." {from her first gaze, depth of love flared my interest. In my last breath, her name would be the last whisper on my lips} Ayesha Abadal was a complete package of all the colors of life. Vibrant like yellows, bubbly like pink, innocent like blue, strong like red, soft like lavender, and so on and on. Just like her never-resting thoughts and imaginations. She wasn't worried about the future, lived in the present moment, was a proud member of the BTS army, and was a filmy girl. She never had to face the hard knocks of life. "He was the manifestation of my every dream. He was the only man in my life who blessed me with beautiful promises and the agony of broken promises." Never been in love but has the confidence to cherish the feeling. Two people from different worlds are set up to build their perfect world. What happens when they realize their dream life is falling apart, will sparks fly once again? Will they realize that the love they've both forgotten is exactly what they need to survive?

This is a collection of all the poetry I have written. Some sadness, some happiness, and a concotion of both. Poetry is my way to vent and let my emotions flow freely. My Gifted Love (✓)
"Listen Dev. I..I am sorry. Please let me explain" I pleaded while taking my steps back. "Sorry? Really? Ms Aasha Sharma" he asked with a smirk. Now my back hit the wall i gasped. His face is few inches away from mine. Suddenly he held my waist tightly. "You know without you i can't live. You know without you i will be like a lifeless body. Then why you left me?" He shouted in rage. What he saying is true. Yes i left him. I know he will be hurt if i leave him. But my life left no options for me. I love him a lot. I can't live without him. I even know that he also can't live without me. But i can't tell him the truth. "Tell me damn it why you did this to me?" he shouted. I shivered. "I..I" no words came out from my mouth. "I left you because for your own good" I said closing my eyes tightly. "Oh! My own good?"Saying this he crashed his lips on mine. His kiss was not a passionate one but a punishable. I flinched in pain when he bited my lower lip. "You are going to endure more than this Ms.Aasha Sharma. You are going to face the consequences for leaving me" he said while wiping the blood from my lips. I gulped. "Get ready to face the New Dev Malhotra!" saying this he left the place not before locking the suite door. ~~~~ Aasha sharma, a 24 year old beautiful girl, for her love is a forbidden subject in her life. "Ouchh," I cried trying to balance. I looked up at him with soft eyes, flushed cheeks. He looked into my eyes with his knitted ones. His hair lying over his sweaty forehead. I never presumed to glimpse him this close. His photographs conveyed his good looks but his dominating aura was hard to handle. I was feeling scared to even breathe in his arms. Bringing his fingers to my face he gently pushed hair strands behind my ear. I lowered my eyes feeling extremely shy. "Sambhal kar chaliye zara, har waqt bahein nahi hongi hamari sambhalne ko," he said in a scratchy tone. There was a hint of taunt present. I knitted my brows to his words and quickly matched his aura. "Hume chahiye bhi nahi," I said glaring at him. He shot his eyebrows a little and I pushed him to leave angrily. Turning around I stepped up on another dumbbell and slipped over it again. I threw my hands in the air for support and once again found him snaking my waist and pulling my back closer to his chest. "Are you sure," he asked over my ears. I angrily looked back at him, found him smirking. "Baahon mein girte girte, mohabbat me mat giriyega hamare," he whispered looking into my eyes. "Kabhi nahi," I replied and left. I royally ignored his taunt only to end up marrying him. Day by day my feelings for him grew stronger though finding happiness was becoming a risky game. But I was heartbroken upon discovering that he only married me out of pity and loved someone else who he was to marry. Not having parents from young age now made me helpless. It felt good to leave home where my family cared for me all these years, after my parents. I did not want to go back and be a burden again. But living this life with him didn't seem fruitful either. This is love story of Tejas Pratap Rathore and Sunaina Maan Singh. Storyline takes place in the early years of 21st century (2001). A beloved saga tying them together in love and commitment whilst they dwell over misunderstandings and growing feelings.
Protect my heart (On Hold)
Let's meet again for the first time. Her mother shook her head, tears streaming down her face. "Who will marry you now, when people get to know you were left by Vikram?"
