Begadti hai jis waqt zalim ki niyat,
Nahi kaam aati daleel aur hujjat.

Khabi bhool kar kisi se na karo sulook aisa,
Jo tum se koi karta,tumhe na gawar hota.

Ju baat kaho saaf sutri ho bhali ho,
Kadvi na ho,khatti na ho,misri ki dali ho.

This book is dedicated to one & only friend in my life who is really special to me and who helped me in my teen years to be practical, who was there whenever I wanted him for support and guided me towards what was best for me. He encouraged me to write and pen down my feelings as he provided me motivation and inculcated in me a hobby for Urdu poetry reading and writing. Our all time favorite ghazal was 'Zindagi mein tho sabhi pyaar kiya karte hain....' by mehdi hassan and from there my journey started to jot down Urdu poetry. If you haven't heard it or read it, I would suggest you to read it and I am damn sure you will love it to the core! میں نے اپنی شاعری کے ابتدائی دور میں لکھا ہوا کلام " رقص بسمل" کے زیر عنوان مجتمع کرنے کا ارادہ کیا ہے۔ کچھ غزلیں اور نظمیں شامل کر دی ہیں۔ باقی بھی جب جب وقت ملا شامل کرتا رہوں گا. ان غزلوں میں سے اکثریت کا موضوع محبت ہی ہے۔ کبھی یہ محبت مجازی رنگ اختیار کر لیتی ہے اور کبھی حقیقی۔ کچھ نظمیں ایسی بھی شامل ہوں گی جن میں معاشرتی مسائل جیسے غریب اور مزدور طبقے کےمسائل پر بھی لب کشائی کی گئی ہے۔ اپنی کاوش میں کس حد تک مجھے کامیابی حاصل ہوئی اسکا فیصلہ پڑھنے والوں پر چھوڑتا ہوں۔
