Jessy is a fifteen year old orphan- without much of a chance at a new home, right?

No.

A man that is certainly mysterious picks her up from the orphanage to take her to his home- and Jessy is thrilled to be finally taken to a sweet home.

Although, it isn't exactly sweet...

An old, rickety, dusty, mossy castle- and she sleeps in a turret. It's old, it's dusty, it's cold, it's wet. Like fuel for nightmares, am I right?

Then, she starts receiving mysterious notes in the middle of the night. They're spelt badly, and speak of a girl and her dog. Who where apparently murdered in that very castle.

The girl, when asked by Jessy, speaks about the kind, mysterious man who adopted Jessy in a very foul manner. Apparently he had something to do with her murder.

Jessy starts to doubt. If this man who adopted her can really be trusted?
