Lya, Z’ev and Bre are in a platonic best-friendship, well at least only on the outside. Lya is the link between Z’ev and Bre, who’d only talk to one another when Lya is around. Other than that, they’d be like strangers. Why? Z’ev is harbouring an unrequited love for Bre and can never man up to talk to her properly. Z’ev decides to tell Lya that he’s going to drop the bomb on Bre – Lya’s sister from another mother – and pop the boyfriend question on her birthday. What’s wrong isn’t that Lya is romantically interested in Z’ev, that’d be too cliché! Bre has no feelings for Z’ev and only Lya knows that. So, Lya has only three options: 1. Warn Bre about it so she avoids the guilt of rejecting Z’ev and betray Z’ev’s trust. 2. Keep Z’ev’s secret and watch Bre suffer from the guilt and awkwardness whenever she meets Z’ev. 3. Eat. It is a dilemma for Lya. What will she do within the next twenty-four hours she has? Can she save the hearts of both her best friends?
