I looked at him, he looked at me, we both furrowed our eyebrows in confusion. We both looked away, the burning, returned i held back a scream, i quickly ran out.

He ran out, and walked over to me, he put his wrist out and i placed mine on top of his, it was as if the ink was transferring from arm to arm.

Our eyes interlocked, we were still confused. I took my arm off and studied my wrist, i grabbed his arm, we were in complete silence.

It looked similar, except his was a different shape but it was weird because although they were nothing alike they still fitted perfectly together.

He stiffened at my touch, and i stiffened at his. I gulped down some air trying to not make it seem awkward as it already was.

I looked into his deep blue eyes, he studied me for a second and i studied him. He let out a chuckle and i just blushed.

EXTRACT: She rises and hurries to the backyard door, turning towards me with an amused expression. "Catch me if you can." She challenges me, and I'm always willing to take one on. "Oh it's on." This time I wasn't planning on letting her win. She slid the door open and ran outside onto the green grass. Faith tried to careful to avoid slipping it due to the rain. I dashed there following her. "What are you guys doing?! Are you crazy?!" Allegra yells at us from the deck by the door. "You're so slow!" Faith looks back while running. "Oh just you wait Faith-" I catch up just behind really closing to grabbing hold of her. The rain soaked her brown hair and drenched her clothes but she didn't seem to mind. The appearance of her smile was only enhanced by her wet face. I realize I'm supposed to catch her and grab her, but as soon as I do, we both find ourselves slipping onto the grass. Swish. We rested on the lawn, catching our breath from the chase. Faith hovers over me and restrains me by pressing both of my wrists. In retaliation, I flip her over the same way and secure her. "Good try." I sneer and laugh at her unsuccessful attempt. I leaned over her frame, gazing straight into her deep brown eyes, and I had no intention of removing my gaze from them in the future. I seemed to have caught her off guard and she didn't know how to react. Time slowed down for a moment, it continued to downpour, there was still grass in her hair. And out of nowhere, Faith kissed my cheek. There's no way that just happened. ************ end of extract. I won't say I knew I wouldn't fall in love with him, I knew. The very first instant, from the first glance, from that sense of unfamiliar familiarity, I knew. And I think he did too. I wouldn't say it was love at first sight, rather just a feeling like I had some ties to this person, who knows maybe in a past life. Well anyway, I did, but little did I know that the first time it would ruin me. But the second time, It healed me.

"Here," he threw the gun at me, which I had to catch with my two hands. "Kill him." The moment the words were out of his mouth, I dropped the gun in shock and took back steps. "I will let you go if you kill him," he was pointing towards John. "No," I whispered and again took a back step. "No?" The devil asked with disappointment, "Tsk-tsk, and here I thought you wanted to leave." "I can't," I stuttered. "Why?" "It's a sin," I whispered. A gasp escaped my throat when he stood so close to me that I could smell him and feel his hot breath on my face. Reading my intent to pull away, he wound his free arm around my waist and drew me near. "You said you want to go home, right?" a shudder passed through me when he murmured. "Killing is....a..sin," I pushed at his chest with all my might. I gasped when he turned me around abruptly, facing John. My heart palpitated when I felt his presence behind me, crossing all bounds of personal space. "What will happen if you sin?" My chain of thoughts broke when I heard him ask, leaning close to my ear. A ripple of shock passed through me, stunning me in the spot as soon as his callous palm ran over my stomach, pulling me deeper into his chest. "Please," I begged. "I will tell you what will happen if you sin," he leaned closer. "No, no, no," John thrashed in his place. A whimper left me when his hot breath hit my ear, "you burn in hell." Lost in my dread of his proximity or his touch, I failed to notice when he placed the gun in my hand, locked my fingers around it with his own, and raised it towards John. "And this is hell." Before I could stop him or pull my hand away, he pulled the trigger, followed by the gunshot. I clutch my eyes shut with a scream locked in my mouth. I was trying to save my father then; how did I end up becoming a sinner? I killed a man! "Boss." "She is mine." I didn't know who was talking to whom, but at that moment, I just wanted this all to be a dream.

Book 1 - Saved By The Devil ✅ Book 2 - Return Of The Devil ✅ Book 3 - Crowned By The Devil ✅ Book 4 - War With The Devil ✅ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Scene from book: "I warned you," he growled in anger as his fingers tightened around my neck. I focused on flashing out of his holding but nothing happen. A hysterical laugh escaped him, "You can't escape my holding. You see, when I order someone to be here, they have no choice but to be here. Your powers will never work against me no matter if you're a demon or not. Even if you get your new powers, they wouldn't work. You know why?" he asked with a evil smirk on his face. I couldn't reply since I was now gasping for air. "Because you're a Demon," he answered his own question. "You know why even a Demon can't go against me?" his smirk widened. I grabbed his hand and tried to push it away or at least loosen it but he kept a grip on me enough for me to breath in small amounts of air. He leaned in closer, "Because I own every Demon, which mean, I own you. So test me again Sky and see what happens. Until you get back to your normal self, there is no us. I need the girl I fell in love with. Not the girl who goes around killing other people for the fun off it," he hissed out. With his final words, he let go of me and I dropped to the floor breathing heavily. I took up and looked at him to see he was not in flames anymore. He was just casually leaning against the wall looking at me with a smug look. "That was a bitch move," I mumbled. He looked around, "Do you see it?" he asked. I let out a scoff, "See what?" He looked at me in the eyes with a smirk. "If I care." Out of anger I flashed over to him and reached for his neck again but this time, he grabbed both of my hands causing me to stop. I tried to reach but he was still stronger than me. "Forgive me Princessa but....

Normal isn't a term Olivia Hernandez is familiar with. Her mother is dead to an abnormal disease, leaving her wallowing in scattered memories. Her father is abusive and never sober, leaving her treading through glass shards of beer bottles. There's too many unclear secrets her family has, and so she can only act as if that's "normal". Her eyes are bright, and yet, her skin is littered in scars. Olivia meets Alex James, the son of her mother's best friend. And where do they meet? A graveyard. How oddly compelling. When the two find each other at her mother's grave, Olivia can't help but feel close to him, even with his harsh and yet somewhat caring atmosphere. Not only are his pretty bluebell eyes alarmingly alluring, but the memories he brings back to her are even more appealing. They had a hidden past, tied together by Olivia's deceased mother and toxic father. They had a hazy future, tied together by Alex's bastard of a father and Olivia's childhood nemesis. This was their reality. A reality for a boy with the prettiest bluebell eyes and a girl who would forever be a scarred beauty. ~~~ "You told me that you loved me," I said quietly as we walked across the golden fields, out of the nightmare of a territory. I peered at him to see his eyes half-closed, as if he was fighting and struggling to keep them open. "You told me to trust you." His blue eyes glanced at me for a moment before falling back to the ground. The sun began rising behind us as we continued on our path, shining rays of gold and orange light on us. I sniffled and smiled lightly, but it was without humor. "But I don't know if I can keep this up anymore..." [ DISCLAIMER: This concept was developed during my middle school years. The plot may be seriously underdeveloped, so unless you aren't looking to read a picture-perfect book, you're not where you should be. ]

"Madison?" I say through my tears. I touch her face. Even though we weren't together, I still loved her. I was planning to ask her out, but I guess that that won't happen. "Carter." I turn around and see Cameron in the door. I turn back to Madison and kiss her forehead before getting up. I walk over to Cameron, and wipe my eyes. "Hey," Cameron says grabbing my shoulder. I refuse to look at him. "Look at me." He says. I turn to him and look at him. "Everything's going to be fine." He says. I shake my head. "Not without Madison." I say as I shake myself free from his grasp. **** ew this is so cringey and it's terrible but i wrote it when i was like 12 so....
