16 year old Nicole was going thru a tough time. She had this voice amazing beautiful, she saw the world for its beauty and ignored the ugly moments. She was a proud believer in black lives matter she fears everyday she'll loose her dad or brother to police brutality. To escape her fear she sings but her grandma killed her dreams, doesn't let her leave the house, makes her clean up after everyone there. She's like Cinderella without a happy ending. She and her mom wasn't the best of friends, She did a lot of drugs broke their family. Her mother had two other babies which the state took because her mother wouldnt stop the drugs and was selfish. Nicole had one friend who she hurt, but they got thru it. She loved Ebonee she was like a sister to her and she id greatful that she's in her life. Ebonee is the only one who heard the cages bird sing. But she doesn't know why the caged bird won't sing loud neither does Nicole

Endless Darkness
After Nicole's father died she stopped feeling. She stopped having emotions. Eventually she began to bring the emotions back and felt again. She took over her families mafia and made friends. But that all changes in her 18th birthday when she finds out her father arranged a marriage for her. The man she marries is awful and to make matter worse, he is allied with the mafia that killed her father. Nicole falls back into her endless void of darkness and turns off all her emotions. She becomes feared. She gains power. And she is known to be heartless. When it all becomes to much, how is it that the least expected person pulls her out of that darkness?
