Tegan's whole world is destroyed when she discovers her parents have been brutally murdered. She has no memory of the events leading up to their death or why she was suddenly fighting for her own life too. The only reason she survived was because the police arrived in time to stop her attacker from finishing the job. Now, with her life in pieces Tegan must move to a new town to live with family members she hardly knows, and start at a school where it's easy to disappear. But as the trial for her parent's murder approaches Tegan begins to regain her memory and soon realizes that not everything was what she thought, some things aren't adding up. Can she put all the pieces together before it is too late?

You never think something bad will happen to you or someone you know. Amber never thought she would finally move away to a new home with her family. Her parents thought they'd never get a break for the weekend. Neither of them thought Amber would disappear in the middle of the night. Now with the clock ticking and having no idea where she is, Amber is in the fight for her life and is desperate to escape her kidnappers and return home, in one piece and alive. She has no idea if they'll let her go or if even if they'll keep her alive for one more day. All she knows is that she doesn't have time to hope and pray to be saved. She has to take action and fast. Because time is running out and she only has one hope of escape, a hope that can mean her life or her death.
