The Timeline of Love

We say life is short, when really it's the longest thing we'll ever know
We say grass is green, but only from the sun and water that allows it to grow
We say snow is white, but when it melts it is clear
And we have no explanation for love,
For our only reasoning of it is what we experience through the years
