"Treasure what're you doing awake by this time". I heard my mum voice trailing behind. I shivered,I knew perfectly the rules of not being awake by this time. I would only get scolded at and maybe my phone seized. But it's not really my fault for wanting a distraction from my messy life. I just couldn't take it anymore,I was tired of thinking of my life I was tired of blaming God for the circumstances before me. Sometimes I feel like a burden and sometimes I wished I was never born. Life is cruel and learning from you mistakes doesn't count anymore. I have been told about how things would be fine by my mates. Encouraging words to keep me going, but it's simply not working. I would have committed suicide but I don't want to put my mum through that pain. She is my most favorite person in the universe. "Tress I'm talking to you. What are you doing awake?" I wanted to let go, wanted to jump. But when I felt my hand release the railing I had been holding so tight, my knuckles turned white, I felt a tender hand grasping mine. No matter how brilliant this dragon looked, however, I couldn't fight back the only other thought that was running through my head. But when she finds her fate caught with the Dragon Riders, secrets are uncovered about her identity, and she has to choose between fighting her father...or facing the only friends she'd ever known in battle. OLD: While I'm very proud for this being my first completed major project, it's still old as hell, several things make 0 sense and there's a lot of random convoluted stuff and little consistency, especially in characters. This was something I wrote to escape when I was down and often sleep-deprived so I just wrote what I felt like in the moment. THIS ALSO APPLIES TO ITS SEQUELS. Mars was finally having a good mental health streak when he choked on lo mein and died. At least The System is there to give him a second chance. Unfortunately, many transmigration novels involve a system glitch, and this one is no exception. Rather than hopping into the mind of the hero's best friend, like he intended, or as a fish, which would at least be funny, he's stuck in the body of the story's main villain. Worse, the original villain is there with him! And fully aware! And in complete control! Also, it becomes super gay so stay tuned for that. TW: Main character has depression.
