Winner of The Hoot Awards 2017 I slip my head back inside and try to gather my thoughts. Here's what I know: my house is on fire, firemen are here and not putting it out, and I'm alive for now. What I don't know: why the firemen aren't putting out the fire, how this happened, and if my family is okay. One more thing tickles the back of my brain. Something is horribly wrong here, and it's not the fire. I'm lightheaded as I realize the obvious: Steel Blaze isn't here. My house is burning to the ground, I don't know if my family is safe, and I'm not even sure if I'm going to be alive to kill Will at the moment. Steel, the one person I need to save me, is not here. I bite my lip. If he's not here now, I'm sure he's not coming. This isn't your regular superhero story. Beautiful cover made by @MayTijssen

Phoenix is known to burn, and Death is known to kill. But a phoenix never truly dies-so how can it be 𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐱'𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡? She was once a daddy's girl, now abandoned in a cruel, unforgiving world... with no memory of who she truly is. And yet, she remembers one boy-only for his betrayal. The boy she loved beyond reason, beyond the moon. He was once a boy burdened with responsibility, who found unexpected joy in a girl who lit up his shadows. But tragedy struck, and all he was left with was the taste of betrayal. She got engaged to someone else... just to leave him. They loved. They lost. They hated. And then they forgot. But destiny... destiny is the real game neither of them ever imagined. Now, fate brings them face-to-face once again. Can the taste of betrayal and hatred unravel them completely, shaking the very roots of their existence? Can love survive when tangled in the menacing strings of family politics? So then-how will it become Phoenix's Death after all these years? Will hatred win? Or will betrayal become the final demise of love? Join the journey of 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐚 𝐁𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐰𝐚𝐣 (𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘋𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩) and 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐲𝐚 (𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘩𝘰𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘹).
