Charli avait toujours été un garçon discret, timide et ayant peu de confiance en lui. Sa vie tournait autour de ses études et de ses livres. 
Il n'avait pas beaucoup d'amis, ce Charli. Depuis son plus jeune âge, il essayait, mais les autres n'avaient pas vraiment envie d'être son ami. Il ne comprenait pas. 
Charlie n'était pas bavard, un peu maniaque mais il était gentil. Enfin, c'est ce que ses parents lui répétaient. 
Puis il a fallu que sa machine à laver tombe en panne.
