An Unfortunate Incident

At just 17 years of age, Marie has just received the best news in all of her lifetime. She has been accepted to a college almost halfway around the world. She'll be leaving her beloved small town to hop on a plane which will take her across the Pond. Ulster University in Northern Ireland to be exact, where she will study to become a sociologist.

Marie seems to have her whole life planned out before her, and it looks bright.

But her innocent, candy-coated golden town has black streaks running through it. And they're about to show.

Marie's plans are about to go askew. Her bright future is about to get slightly duller. In this critical point during life, the only person she can lean on is herself.
