"On the 20th of July 2020 a technical error causes one thousand one hundred and seventeen nuclear warheads to be launched at Russia. The 'Death Hand' device is triggered and every nuclear warhead in Russia is launched directly back at America.
The rest of the world is ravaged by disease, mutation and malnutrition. The weak quickly are killed and society collapses.
